Lived all my life in and around Hampshire, except for 1 year living and working in the UAE.

After working in a variety of positions, from landscape gardening to steel working, I finally went into the civil service (MAFF/DEFRA) for 6 years, then made a radical decision to go back to college and train as a graphic designer. Have worked as a designer since 1990.

In 2006 I decided to make another radical decision, and started training as a lawyer, completing my GDL in 2008.

Happily married since 2004 to a lovely Ukrainian girl I met on the internet - yep, we are a successful internet couple! We have 2 children, Anastasia and Mikhail (Mishka).

So many things. In the past I have learnt to fly, and to scuba dive. I'm an experienced archer as well.

These days my children take up most of my 'free' time, so I console myself with running my own small wargames company, satisfying my creative needs by sculpting very small soldiers for big kids :-)
